Motorhead frontman Lemmy makes an appearance in Guitar Hero: Metallica

To any fans of rock music, Lemmy should need no introduction. As the voice of Motorhead, the man is pretty much a living legend.

You may be thrilled to know, then, that Activision has announced today that he will be a playable character in the upcoming Guitar Hero: Metallica game.

In addition, the game will feature a remastered version of "Ace Of Spades", a game that first poked into video games back in one of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater games.. which one exactly, we can't recall at the moment.

Guitar Hero Metallica for Wii to ship with more content than "next-gen" versions.

Straight from the horses mouth, we have the track list for the next Guitar Hero game, Guitar Hero Metallica. Surprisingly, the Wii version will include content that the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions do not: 3 tracks off of Metallica's Death Magnetic album. These will be included on-disc, whereas owners of the aforementioned consoles will be required to purchase the downloadable album in order to access them.

    The Killers come to Guitar Hero World Tour

    Activision has announced that a 3-song pack featuring The Killers will be available for Guitar Hero World Tour on November 25th, the same day that their latest album hits shelves. Included in the pack are:

  • Human
  • Losing Touch
  • Mr. Brightside


    • Unlike previous GHWT DLC, these songs WILL be available on the Nintendo WiFi service, but only as individual tracks for 200 Wii Points each.
