Wow, not just one, but TWO Ace Attorney games in one week? As if yesterday's release of "Justice For All" on the Wii wasn't enough, today we have Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth coming out for the DS.

Other titles that we're into this week? For the music lover, Korg DS-10+ which puts a full fledged synthesizer in your pocket as well as Data East Arcade Classics and Chicken Riot on the Wii.

Ok, maybe not so much Chicken Riot, but there's still plenty to spend that cash on!

DS Releases for 2/16/2010

There's a few good releases hitting the Wii this week, such as Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: JUSTICE FOR ALL and Sonic and Knuckles.

Any repeat visitor to this site should know by now that we have a real weakness for retro games and remakes of such games. That's why this week's WiiWare title, Blast Master Overdrive is so exciting for us.

We're all set to relive our 4th and 5th grade memories of this game, and the trailer looks like they really captured the elements of the original that made it such a hit.

Let's hope that our memories have served us well and that we hold this same opinion by the time we get to actually play this.

UPDATE: Here's our thoughts on everything else... Tomena Sanner has COMPLETELY stolen the show for us. This is a sidescrolling running game which looks like Canabalt melded with Katamari.. it's THAT crazy. Can't wait to check this one out. A lot more too... list after the break.

WiiWare

It's definitely been a few weeks of drought for Wii owners, but all that changes today with the release of two HUGELY anticipated games for the small white box.

First, we have Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars. This is the continuation of Capcom's insanely popular Vs. Fighting series with some fun mini games thrown in as an added bonus. Surprisingly for a core title, this one is a Wii exclusive(for now, at least). It's also getting some great reviews so what reason do you have not to grab it?

The other game we're excited about this week is No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, a game we were SURE was heading to the DS when we saw it's subtitle. The original was a thrilling hack and slash somewhat marred by clunky driving sequences, and we're confident the sequel could have those kinks ironed out easily.


The third and final Wii release this week is somewhat less exciting.. a budget title called Fast Food Panic.

Over on the DS, just one game and it's barely worth mentioning: Imagine: Party Planner

If you've been avoiding Uno on every other gaming platform ever in lieu of the Wii version, you're going to love Nintendo's updates this week. The game is finally available and for only1000 points.

If you're into retro games, this is a very good week for you on Nintendo's download service. The big fish here is undoubtedly Super Smash Bros.(N64, 1000 Points), but we're also getting the arcade version of Ninja Gaiden (600 Points).
